A pelleted complete feed for older horses — forage, grain and supplement in one bag, so it can replace most or all of the hay for a horse that can't chew well any more. Built on alfalfa pellets, soybean hulls, rice bran, beet pulp and oats, with glucosamine added for joint comfort and live yeast culture for digestion.
For horses with worn or missing teeth, soak in water for 20 minutes before feeding — add enough to submerge the feed completely. Same for any horse new to it, or one that bolts its grain.
Suitable for all horses except those under 12 months. Northwest regional formula.
Do not add other sources of selenium that bring total dietary selenium above 0.3 ppm.

How to Feed
How to Feed
A total balanced diet for all horses except those under 12 months. Feed alongside free-choice plain or iodized salt and 2–3 lb per day of long-stemmed hay.
Pounds to feed daily per 100 lb of body weight:
Senior horse with chewing difficulties — 1.5 to 1.8 lb
Maintenance, adult horses — 1.3 to 1.5 lb
Performance, light work — 1.5 to 1.7 lb
Performance, moderate work — 1.6 to 1.8 lb
Performance, intense work — 1.8 to 2.0 lb
For horses with worn or missing teeth, soak in water for 20 minutes before feeding — enough water to submerge the feed completely. Do the same for any horse new to LMF Senior or one that eats aggressively.
Warning: Do not add other sources of selenium that cause total dietary selenium (forage and grain combined) to exceed 0.3 ppm.
