A textured, high-fat feed for performance horses that need calories and weight gain. 12% fat from ground flax, sunflower seeds, vegetable oil, rice bran and prilled vegetable fat — a blend chosen to keep the Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio favorable. Fermentable fiber from beet pulp and soybean hulls produces energy without loading the diet with sugar, which is what keeps hot horses working rather than fizzing.
Also carries yeast culture for digestive function, supplemental butyric acid and zinc for intestinal health, chelated trace minerals, organic selenium and natural vitamin E.
Formulated in Spokane Valley, WA to complement Western hay. Northwest regional formula.
Do not add other sources of selenium that bring total dietary selenium above 0.3 ppm. Additional vitamin or mineral supplements are not recommended when feeding LMF according to directions.
